How to Update GGMS Assets in Sierra Interactive

If you need clarification on whether you have the most updated version of GGMS assets, there's a simple way to update them yourself.

Getting GGMS Updates

When GGMS pushes an updated version of all the great features we cultivate for you into your Sierra Interactive account, we expect everything to go smoothly. You'll have access to all the newest things immediately.

Sierra and GGMS work together to prevent hiccups, but we can't always predict the issues that come up, and sometimes that means your account may not update as expected. Feel free to contact support @ ggms.com with any questions about these updates. We value our clients and want to be available with any concerns.

If you want to keep these assets updated for yourself, we have some instructions below to help you do that!

Sections to Update

These sections below contain GGMS assets you can update yourself at any time. Don't worry about messing anything up! If we have yet to make any recent changes, performing these steps will not impact your Sierra Interactive account, and you'll be able to keep using your GGMS features without any delays.

  • Action Plans
  • Lead Tags
  • Contact Templates
  • Smart Filters (on the Leads Dashboard)

Action Plans

Since there are two types of action plans, there are two sets of steps to complete this update. Ensure you note which kind of action plan you update first so you can be sure you're updating both!

To update Action Plans, go to "Leads > Action Plans > Add Action Plan." If you have multiple options, select GGMS - Gallagher Group Marketing Suite.

Click the box at the top left to select all of the action plans. Scroll down to the bottom right and click "Import Selected."

On the next window, select the top option, "Remove the old version of the plan from these leads when I import the version of the plan."

This is where you will also need to repeat this process for Traditional Action Plans. Simply click "Add Action" Plans again and change the drop-down at the top of the window to "Traditional Action Plans" Select all of the plans using the box on the top right and scroll down to click "Import Selected."

 

On the next window, select the top option, "Remove the old version of the plan from these leads when I import the version of the plan."

Lead Tags

Importing GGMS Lead tags will not delete any of the tags you have created for yourself, even if you have added them to a section of GGMS tags. 

To update your GGMS Lead Tags, go to "Leads > Lead Tags > Import Tags." If you have multiple options, select GGMS - Gallagher Group Marketing Suite and click "Import Tags."

Smart Filters

To update "Smart Filters," go to "Leads > Leads Dashboard" and then click the three dots on the right side of the page. Select "Edit Smart Filters"

Click "Import Smart Filters on the top right and then select GGMS - Gallagher Group Marketing Suite.

Click the box at the top left to select all of the action plans. Scroll down to the bottom right and click "Import Selected."

Contact Templates

To update Contact Templates, go to the "Gear Icon > Contact Templates > Create New Template" and select GGMS - Gallagher Group Marketing Suite.

Click the box at the top left to select all contact templates. Scroll down to the bottom right and click "Import Selected."
