Introducing Notification Preferences in GGMS CRM
In real estate, timing is the whole game. A buyer who saves a listing at 9:14 PM is telling you something, and the agent who reaches out first usually wins the conversation. But staying on top of every signal used to mean either drowning in alerts or missing the ones that mattered.
That changes today. We've rolled out Notification Preferences in GGMS CRM: a single place to decide exactly what you get notified about and how you hear about it. No more all-or-nothing. You're in control, down to the individual event and channel.
Four ways to stay in the loop
Start by choosing where your notifications show up. Turn on as many channels as fit how you work:
- Email: sent to the email address on your account.
- SMS: a text to your registered phone number, for the moments you can't afford to miss.
- In-App: collected under the bell icon in the top bar, ready whenever you check in.
- Browser: pops onto your screen when GGMS is open in a tab but you're working somewhere else.
Most agents mix and match: SMS for the truly time-sensitive stuff, in-app for everything else. It's your call.
Notifications built around how agents actually work
Once you've picked your channels, decide which events matter to you. Topics are grouped into clear categories, and you can set the channel for an entire group or fine-tune a single event.
General keeps you on top of your pipeline: a New Lead entering the system, a Form Submission from a capture form, and lead reassignments whether one is coming to you or moving away from you.
Communication makes sure conversations never slip through the cracks: an Inbound Phone Call to your tracking number, an Inbound SMS, or a Received Voicemail.
Behavioral is where GGMS really earns its keep. These are the buyer-intent signals that tell you a contact is heating up: when someone Saves a Listing, Shares a Listing, sends a Request for More Info, or submits a Schedule Showing Request. A saved or shared listing is one of the strongest "I'm interested" signs a contact can give you, and now you'll know the moment it happens.
Tasks keeps your day on track, starting with alerts when a Task is Assigned to you.
You decide the noise level
The heart of the feature is the topic grid. For every event, you choose which channels fire, so the high-priority signals can hit your phone while the routine ones quietly land in-app. A few touches make setup fast:
- Turn on all topics to switch everything on at once, then trim back what you don't need.
- Search topics to jump straight to a specific event.
- Expand or collapse categories to keep the page tidy.
And because preferences are tied to your individual account, your setup is yours alone. Your teammates configure theirs to match how they work.
More on the way
We're already building the next wave of signals. Coming soon: Viewed Property X Times (so you'll know when a contact keeps circling back to the same listing), Task is Due and Task Missed reminders, and a whole new Re-engagement category to help you reconnect with contacts who've gone quiet.
Set it up in two minutes
- Head to Notification Preferences in your account settings.
- Under How you get notified, switch on the channels you want: Email, SMS, In-App, Browser.
- Under What you get notified about, expand each category and set your channels per topic, or hit Turn on all topics to start broad.
- Click Save Preferences, and you're done.
That's it. The next time a buyer saves a listing or a hot lead hits your pipeline, GGMS will reach you exactly the way you asked it to, so you can do what you do best: respond first and close.
